Hi Thanks for the great info....now does anyone know of a good cheap hotel for a family to stay in while doing the visa run?

He is almost six, (he has been at Prep in Aust) the older children all went into another room and did some school work....and the younger ones seemed to play, sing ect. Seemed just like home....although alot less boystress!

Your utilites would not coat you $500 a month for just 2 people however.....if it means they go and pay it all for you GO FOR IT. You will save allot of time and effort running around and unless you can drive you will have to pay a taxi or driver to do it anyway. Maybe try it for the 6 months...

Yes but $5000 plus reg/enrollment fees and we are still looking at allot per year x 3 or 4 or 5 children for some families? Surely there is a couple of school teachers out there that can hire a nice room and start an independent school?? Or maybe even small groups of kids being home schooled...

I met a teacher who had been teaching at Canggu school, she was more then happy with the pay. Considering the cost of living was better then England...not to mention the lifestyle. You would also get work tutoring or home schooling....we are in great need of some good teachers to help the expat...
