I think this is really over the top. And dangerous too. In case of an accident or another emergency you cannot even look up a phone number ... That is a bit scary. Lots of people have only mobile internet.
Tell him that he saved you a lot of money because you really needed stones anyway. And now you dont have to buy them because he supplies them for free.
There seems no possibility to dispose of old batteries in Bali in a environmental friendly way. It makes me sick to see that most of them end up in the normal household rubbish. I collect mine and take them back to Austria.
I am getting really annoyed by this street robbery. They now want money for everything. Going to the beach, passing through the rice terraces , visiting a temple ... the roads remain horrible though. Where does all that money go? Why do I have to pay for going to a public beach? I am not talking...
Hi ZoomBali, if you can keep the kittens until they are fully vaccinated there might be a possibility that Villa Kitty will take them. But without that it is too dangerous. If this is an option for you maybe ask Villa Kitty again.
As far as I now gambling for money is prohibited. But also cockfighting in general is prohibited (I think there are special rare occasions where it is allowed) but still happening all the time with police happily taking part.
Hi Davita, what "financial burden" do you talk about? They let you rot in hospital without treatment anyway until you or someone else comes up with the money. We have just seen that. And in this case it was also not the "sponsor" who came up with the money. I can not remember that this ever...
This whole sponsor thing is total bull****. I know people whose sponsor is their pembantu! WTF!!! Whatfor do I need a sponsor if in the end I am anyway responsible for everything??? I do not think any "sponsor" has ever come up with money for whatever.
The poor guy is dead now. A hospital that lets somebody with so severe brain injuries wait for 12 hours before they treat him should be sued for murder. There is no compassion in this country. Not for us foreigners but also not for their own people. At the end of the day it is only about money.
Good move Bali. Not. Women on motorbikes are getting haressed on a regular basis now. Especially in Canggu this is happening almost every day. Uber, GrabTaxi and Gojek are banned in this area. One brave woman managed to make a pic of the guy that harassed her. He was found and taken to police...
It is called grabtaxi. It works just fine. About half price of a metered taxi. Download the app on your smartphone and register. I use it for some time and and no complaints so far.
