Hello forum members, Can anyone advise what is the cost of a new internet connection? Initial setup and monthly charges. Is a SIM card a better choice than a wired/satellite connection? I don't download movies, but I want a reasonable speed so I can skype and do assorted digital nomad stuff...

Actually, a separate Markit forum is an inspired idea. It preserves the entertainment value and occasional useful comments, but in a “walled garden”. It would be well worth trying, if he will play ball. Come on, are you all saying you don't laugh?

Well, call me superficial, but Markit's posts make me laugh. And amongst the rudeness and vitriol, his advice is sometimes good. If he doesn't come back, then I will miss him. IMHO we should not take ourselves too seriously - he is comedy gold, and contributes an occasional flash of seriously...
