Meet the future: Bali’s youth host once-in-a-lifetime event this weekend!

Vibrant, interactive event at W Bali - Seminyak featuring fashion, music, dance, art, food, drink and a re-creation of a traditional Balinese village.

If you’ve ever wanted to experience the traditions of Bali while playing an active role in its future, then Saturday 18th March is your chance. A one-off interactive event has been devised, planned and created by 73 young people working with trailblazing local NGO, Stella’s Child. The children, aged 12-19, are emerging from child poverty to become a bright new generation of entrepreneurs. Their work will create an unforgettable experience for locals eager to see what Bali’s next generation can achieve and for tourists looking for a night of fun, entertainment and immersive experience a little different from the usual Balinese dance performances.

The event is sponsored by the luxury W Hotel, who have invited the children to take over the ballroom and transform it into the kind of rural Balinese village where most were born. Guests will see a headlining performance from local singing sensation Eva Scolaro enjoy free flowing food and drink,, witness the unveiling of the new season from the internationally acclaimed Love Our Earth beachwear brand, take in an art exhibition and witness a dazzling array of music, fashion, dance and art performances.

You will also have the opportunity to win luxury vacation packages and a 2017 Vespa.

The event is the third showcase for Stella’s Child and its flagship “Love Our Earth” brand, which is created and managed by young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and sells across Bali and as far afield as the USA, Australia and Singapore. It promises to be by far the biggest, most ambitious and enjoyable event yet.

Tickets are available at www.stellaschild.org, by email to rsvp@stellaschild.org, or by calling +62 8786 2010 287. Doors open at 6:00pm and shows start at 7:15.
