Just wondering what the norm is on giving a deposit? We are buying a property but not coming to settle it till june....will I pay the deposit to Notaris or owner and how much? They have aked for 50% then 25%, then 25% on settlement? Half seems like alot, as the norm in Australia is 5-10%?
