Steve Rossell

From Melbourne,Australia and I have taken 12 months leave without pay to study Bahasa at Cinta Bahasa in Ubud. I have been travelling to Bali since 1981 and I have visited Indonesia from Medan to Timor over the years. Bali, however has always held a place in my soul. My first visits were primarily surf driven but I have developed an interest in the pre-history of Bali that I would like to develop. I'm 57 years of age and have worked as a cameraman in the film and broadcast industry my whole working life and am looking forward to putting the camera down for a little while. I'm not particularly interested in the main tourist areas and I have some favourite places away from the hustle. My surfing needs no longer see me hunting Ulu's or Padang or even Kuta's reefs, I don't fancy doing battle with the crowded line-ups in waves of consequence or for fun little waves for that matter. I know a few places that will keep me happy. Hope this wasn't too much info but you did say not to make it too short!
