    I have read more of the forum since I first sent you my message. I'm very sorry to hear about your bad experience with a home invasion. One of our biggest loves of Bali's village life was the security we feel at our home. We live in a small village 2 hours west of Denpasar and have not fences, no security and never close up our house. My wife often spends extended periods (6 weeks) there alone as I work in Thailand for 6 weeks at a time. Our only protection agains intruders is our two black labradors and the villagers living around us.
    So to hear of your bad experience is a real shock to us. I truly hope it is a once of experience for you and your husband.

    Hi Jamie, we couldn’t be happier with our rainwater collection system. It has been in use now for about 8 months and is trouble-free. We use first-flush diverters to rinse off the roof before the water is diverted to the holding tank. When it is pumped out it goes through a charcoal filter and a UV sterilizer. It has been tested and we were told it is as clean as bottled Aqua.
