The taxi drivers (especially at the airport) have only got themselves to blame for folks using Uber.
They constantly refuse to use the meter and charge more than the published rate.
Its called service if they done the right thing the tips and extra work would flow in.

I was picking up my daughter from the airport a few weeks ago and while waiting I decided to plug myself in to the throng of taxi touts manning the barricades at the exit.
"Taxi?","taxi?", "mister! best taxi here!", "miss! where you want to go?", "best price!", "Taxi?".
After 40 minutes I spot my daughter amongst the new batch of visitors and amongst the barrage of pleading I called out loudly, in the best Indonesian I could muster, "Miss!Miss! Taxi??? Best driver here! Free!!!
My daughters eyes swung to me as did 30 or so pairs of eyes from the touts. After a few seconds of WTF stares there was much laughter and even a back-slap. Nice to share a joke. :)
#1 daughters response? "Way to go Dad...maybe next time you could embarrass me some more." :D

That seems to be a generic "daughter" reaction - mine does that still.
Gotta say that is about half the fun of having one since they don't do baseball.
