Very bad luck but great advise - who would think about it still if they'd done some financial stuff in the morning that in the afternoon they would still be followed by the bad guys? In this case it was clearly worth it... again sorry.

Last Friday I was helping some friends to change some money, so I offered to change money first and after give it to them and they will give me the euros. So I changed 500 euros and after I met them on the tourist information, I given the money to them, 7.500.000 rp and they given me the euros, plus 1.500.000 rp and another 250 euros in a little bag, which I didn't know was there because it was something I have to give to somebody from a friend in Europe, who later told me there was 250 euros inside to help a local family who has a member with cancer. It is clear that somebody from the money changer or somebody who saw us at the tourist information with the money, followed us all the day and they were waiting when we were in a place until there was a moment to enter and took the bags when we were not alert, inside of the bags where in total almost 13.000.000 rp and the two phones, a cheap one and the iphone. This happened at 1;30 pm and after that i did all the reports to the police. I know it was my fault, it was stupid to give money to somebody on public in front of everybody..........I was so naive and relax. It was a quite shock experience specially because I was followed that morning so these people knows me. It was rare because that same morning I found a wallet on the streets belongs to a tourist person with all the credit cards and documentation and I called her to give her her wallet but later somebody else took mine and run away..............beside I was carrying so much money just because I was helping some friends plus the money to help the local family, it was a morning full of good intentions and helping people but finished so badly for me............. Just be alert and don't show you have money in front of anybody, money can be a devil thing and attract to the wrong people.
