Hi! I will be coming to bali with girlfriends next week, according to our plan, we wish to stay at candidasa for 2 days, as we want to visit the following places:
Semaraputa/KlungKlung
Gua Lanan
Mt. Batur-trekking
Kintamani
Suraya Beach
Hot spring-have a nice dip
where could we stay at any cheap hostel/hotel in candidasa? I searched from the website seem like, the only option is Candi Beach Cottage, they charge USD30 per nite (i am not sure per room or per person) we want to stay somewhere cheaper than this, no hot shower is ok. i hope u guys can shed some information for us. thanks in advance!!!

My advice would be to just arrive and have a look around for your self. There is plenty of cheap accomodation in Candidasa and as it is quiet you will have your pick of places. You can get something for around US $10-15, possibly even with hot water.

Not my idea of a holiday, do you plan on relaxing at all? Stay flexible and get yourself a good map, as you seem to be doing a lot of back tracking.

From your planned itinerary, I would say this is your first visit to Bali, and you have not done your "homework" about the place :o . I agree with Lee: get yourself a Bali map and rework your present itinerary, which does not make much sense as is.

I can't agree more with tintin and Lee. And frankly, I would blow off Candidasa in a heart beat, opting for Amed instead.
I get a real chuckle reading planned itineraries from first timers to Bali. If ever the words, “the best laid plans of mice and men are often led astray” are most realized, it is here in Bali.
Whatever you plan will not happen…but what will happen is far better than what you planned. That’s Bali, in a nut shell. Have a great time!

Hi! thanks guy, we have decided to change some of our itinery, we are not going to stay candiddasa instead we might want to stay 2 days in ubub instead. we will be coming this evening. everything should be great : )
