Nanny/Babysitter needed in Ubud

Hi There, Does anyone know of a good nanny/Babysitter/Daycare in Ubud please? I read that one can be hired starting at 1.5 million per month. Is that true? Thank you, Heather

No day care places that I know of in Bali. In another thread you mentioned you only want someone for 1-3 months. Unless someone is between jobs, most people are looking for a permanent position. For an English speaking nanny in Ubud, you would probably have to pay more to get someone reasonable. We trust our pembantu, but we never leave our kids alone with her for too long.

Hi Heather I happen to know of a young Indonesian woman that can cook, speaks great English (was a degree level English Lit. student) has experience looking after children (Russian kids, but they must be people too?).
