The A/C hit a flock of Canada geese 2 mins after take off at 4.5 miles from the end of R/W 04 and climbing at around 200 knots thru' 2800 ft
The NTSB concluded its investigation on May 4, 2010. It determined the probable cause of the accident to be "the ingestion of large birds into each engine, which resulted in an almost total loss of thrust in both engines".
