What I originally thought as feeling trapped, was in fact, the opposite. I was too free. I had separated my two worlds and when I tied them together, I finally understood the term of "best of both worlds". Except I had a third, my own little world or my own creation, to retreat to if I ever needed. The truth is, we're all different but we're also pretty much the same, and we all feel the same. We just have to learn to accept that by being different, you create a community. If we were all the same, there would be no innovation, we'd be walking down the same path with the same pace. Life as a Child of Mixed Marriage - Tya Nilsen
