Thanks Rangi, some of the photos brought back good memories. Especially Jl. Legian 1975. It was an expedition to go to legion then. No road along the beach as there is now, just a sand track a few hundred meters to where the Sahid Hotel used to be. No one went more than 500 meters north of Kuta then because there was nothing there. And at night, there were no lights on Jl. Legian past a few hundred meters north of Kuta, up to Doggies disco. Cool photos mate.

I had a holiday in Bali in 1975. I was with a new girl-friend (before the wife) and we stayed in a resort hotel with separate villas but a common swimming pool. It was the biggest hotel in the area which would now be Kuta as I recall the aircraft landing on the extended runway which was nearby, and in the direction from Kuta or Tuban. Can anyone remember what this hotel would be today...I cannot find it.great pics Rangi...exactly as I remember back in 1975...nothing but a small road and a few huts and I saw some topless ladies riding sepeda. My Chinese girl-friend then was jealous as she was not so well-endowed.:icon_e_sad:

Well I suppose you have the original scans and that they will be higher resolution than the pix on the forum. I would like to have them in original size/res so if you could put them up to some place where I/we could download them that would be great. google drive, icloud, etc.

Rangi I don't want to over-state the bleeding obvious but when I save one of these images it had about 150k byte resolution/size. Now I'm a beginner at this but I figure your original has a shit-load more?

Thanks for the help, Markit. However, unless the photo is already online somewhere, you cannot customize the sizing. The BB software resizes automatically down to a thumbnail.
