Thanks for your comments DPH about my surgery...I'm doing fine and only have a belly-scar, and about half-a-colon left, but my mental faculty has never been more acute. I already explained that the comments made on this forum were NOT passed as from anybody or anywhere...no names or nics were discussed, no forum was mentioned, no legal implications or defamation was even pondered. It was an aside question to my nominee on how he would receive such a comment from anyone regarding their attitude towards nominees...he agreed with me that it was offensive and beyond any joke. He had no idea who, or what, predicated the question....so you can all relax. Just think if my handyman Ketut (I know I'm name dropping again) was asked if I told him I heard comments that he needed to be kept in line as he charged too much...and how a threat to enslave his new grandson would ensure that his fees were according to the clients wishes....how would he feel? If I posted his response on this forum would there be any difference.....it's the same principle!!!....and would members geedee and Elvis rant, out of proportion, as they have on this thread......I don't think so!

The terminology police chief is a generic term...it means you have reached a certain rank from which Chiefs of Police may be assigned. Wikipedia is a source of information but not absolute...still, I prefer to read references provided there than believing in posts with no reference whatsoever. I'm not responding to your other rant as I cannot fathom what I've said to offend you that you have so much bile....suffice to say I suggest you co-operate with Elvis in your rants about me so you'll both only waste half your time and energy.

Since this forum is largely a group of Muppet balcony old men (including Matsaleh and Begonia, at our respective ages the hormone levels are basically the same) who simply want to hang out and trade insults and the occasional pearl of wisdom can everyone please go back to their seats? Elvis is clearly a drunken feck and needs a breathalyzer on his keyboard. Davita should stop trying to be funny, really stop NOW you have not the slightest clue how. His chief of police is about as likely as Ketut his gardener - we do actually all know that if you said anything about slavery to the Balinese they'd laugh. Markit needs to stop and get a new girlfriend... and probably drink less and be nicer to his wife and wash his shorts more often and... I could go on. Given the three points above I wonder which one Elvis wants to prioritize.

I believe when someone blocks you they only see your posts when someone quotes you.. p.s. in as far as your operation is there anyway you being a veteran that the NHS pays for it or does it not apply to expats? Just thought the Government looked after the veterans. I know in Australia they get private or public care with a Dr of their choice but they do live here. I know a guy who used to go regular even with flu and he was very well cared for and went to Concord hospital regularly am pretty sure it specialised in returned servicemen

1. You are correct and why I wondered how he could have known the name of my handyman or, as he thought, gardener. Unless I can be pointed to where that name was quoted by others than my own post I'll just accept that Markit is a clairvoyant. 2. If I lived in UK I'm sure the NHS would cover me but I became a non-resident in 1974 and don't think, unless I returned and re-qualified, if I'm eligible for any NHS service. I recall getting a retirement letter from the Ministry of Defence (MOD) saying I was eligible to have medical care in a military hospital for life, as I had served for 22 years, but not sure how relevant that is today as laws have changed. IMO The Australians and Americans look after their ex-military better than the UK does....although I have heard voices of discontent in the USA. I'm name dropping again, which I know you hate, but I was a VIP crew member for 3 years flying the VC10. Passengers included the Queen, Prince Charles, 'King' Harold Wilson and Edward Heath amongst many other Members of Parliament and Civil Servants. One notable flight included all those aforementiond, minus the Queen, to Melbourne to attend Australian PM (Harold Holt) requiem in 1967. Tullamarine was not yet open as a Commercial airport but the runway was.....and was long and smooth...I recall. Th UK VIP fleet operated similar to the USA Air Force 1 crew (Lyndon Johnson's Presidential B707 was parked next to our VC10) except the UK was too cheap to have a dedicated A/C...they would take a VC10 out of service and modify the interior for those VIP flights. I received a commendation for my 3 year efforts (no cash nor any other dispensation) and a personal picture from Wilson...which I used to hang in my toilet...he was a nasty little man!!!

Remember the Hak Milik property has in all probability now been enhanced by a villa etc. With the Hak Milik no longer in hand the "official" owner can place an advertisement in a local newspaper for 6-8 weeks stating the document to be lost and answer the legal requirement for its replacement from the land office and get it.

I was assured that you have a copy of that document and a copy also goes into the local government land registry office. To follow on from your example mugwump: with the report of a stolen certificate and proof of 8 weeks in the paper the person then goes to the land registry office and completes the circle to get his "new" land certificate. The land registry office is supposed check their copy of the certificate and to contact all interested parties to the deal and as your name appears on the certificate with contact details you should receive notice of the new issuance of the certificate. Whether this would work or not is not the entire question, but whether the perp is willing to risk 10 years in Kerbokan for attempted fraud knowing your name is on the certificate is.

Didn't say "stolen" just lost. It happens, and I now personally of one instance and this was the procedure required to gain a new certificate. Where on a Hak Milik does a foreigner's name appear? I won't pursue the equal justice issue.........just dream on.
