Totally agree....seems like producers of recent TV series want to suck the death out of their productions....i.e. 'Scandal'.
The only comedy series that ended timely on a memorable point for me was 'Friends'.
One show-business character, and I cannot remember who, said "When the audience applauds.....quit....and they'll be back next week!!" Good advice imo.:icon_cool:
