Hello all, wondering if anyone has an idea about the best method of packaging goods to send (using kantor pos/regular post) overseas? As we all know posting items from Bali is quite expensive (on top of the goods already purchased!!), and having the post office box and wrap up your items is just another crazy expense (80k!!). A friend and I have done all the research we can to find the tough plastic post satchels (available in Aus, and also used by many int'l co's for sending their products), but it seems no one has an idea about what these bags/satchels are...and just aren't available. Help anyone with a contact to someone that makes these bags - in Indo preferably!! Or else advice from anyone who posts items regularly. Many thanks!!

I regular send a box or 2 over to the USA with EMS ( 5 day service with full tracking ) from all post offices.I get my custom boxes made up for me at the Bali Art Store on Jalan Danau Buyan in Sanur, just north from the Post Office. I Think I have seen those plastic rip proof envelopes at the Renon Post office.
