I note that Ponders and Beales were incriminated by Sandiford when she co-operated with police saying they were her handlers in Bali. Ponders was caught red-handed in Padang Bai receiving the drugs. They were sentenced to 6 and 4 years respectively....and she faces execution...:icon_question:

The whole thing stinks to high heaven and why the KPK don't get involved is even worse. The only good side is that if they actually shoot an old lady the world reaction will be something to enjoy and might actually make a difference.

That seems to be the rule but I wonder if the goal posts change now she has an AUD$50,000 fund? I'm looking forward to seeing how the Bali judicial system works when the case of the premeditated murder of 8 year old Engeline commences...probably next week. The adoptive mother and her male maid are thus charged and I don't think they have any money. They don't have a jury system in RI so judges rule...easy money methinks. It will be interesting if the Denpaser court charge the daughter with any crime...remember she wrote extensively on facebook about her mother's innocence and the brutal way she was interrogated by family social services....before they found the body buried in the back-yard of the mother's house. I doubt it...she hasn't any money either. Maybe RI follows South Africa where Pistorius has been released to house arrest after only 1 year served for culpable homicide....he had money.

What do you mean...do you advise a better way... or have any other positive ways to use the money? I'm intrigued about your post as it appears to have no meaning, or am I just missing something?

I believe our friend balibule meant that the AUD$50,000 would found a better use as a bribe to the judges, who will decide the Sandiford's fate, rather than being used for an appeal, which will get nowhere. As for [COLOR=#333333]Paul Beales being released although he was involved up to his eyeballs in drug smuggling, it is absolutely disgusting! Indonesia's "justice" system is not only a joke, but its corruption is soooo blatant, it fits perfectly with the rest of the criminal Indonesian Government. [/COLOR]
