balinews A YOUNG Australian man on holiday in Bali has died from what appears to be a tragic accident when he crashed through a glass door at his hotel room. Perth man Daniel Evans, 24, was taken to hospital early on Thursday morning with serious injuries and later died. Denpasar police chief, Anak Agung Made Sudana, confirmed that the young man had died and his body is now at the Sanglah morgue. He said it appeared Evans had been affected by alcohol and had crashed into a glass window of his Kuta hotel room. The glass appeared to have struck a major blood vessel. A friend of Evans’, Olivia Branson, said on Facebook that she had spent the day with Evans and his girlfriend Chelsey Graham and still can’t believe what happened. “RIP Daniel Evans! We had such a beautiful day in Bali with you :( Wish this never happened. Love u so much my brother hope ur okay up there,” she wrote. “Just come back Daniel :( I miss you. Just wanna hear ur laugh one more time :( RIP” Ms Branson’s partner Corey Grimshaw also wrote on Facebook saying he spent the day getting tattoos with Evans. “RIP Daniel Evans. You were so good to me. Had fun with you these past few months. We were brothers I miss you so much. Come, please just wake up. We family man. You mean a lot to me Daniel. I just want 1 more hug from you and take you for a drive and let you drive,” he said on Facebook. Australian man has died in Bali after falling through a glass door.
