Hi does anyone have any ideas on shipping furniture and building materials from bali to sumbawa? Contacts or prices... Freighter truck or shipping container ? Thank you for any help ... TJ :eagerness:

You might try Meratus. They are freight forwarders based in Surabaya, but believe they have an office in Denpasar and know they ship containers to Nusa Tenggara. If they don't ship to Sumbawa they can refer you to someone that does.

Thank you mugwump... will look into this, also do you know who does heavy machinery hire on sumbawa Bima i need a driveway done up a hill about 800m length? maybe just an Excavator and bobcat... is this possible?

I personally have no knowledge, but wouldn't you be wise to try to find someone there locally? I do have a contact with a party that is building a hotel there and can pursue the lead if you have tried locally to no avail.
