Found this World Bank Report giving a comparison of doing business in 20 major cities in Indonesia. So now you guys who can read can help out those others whose attention span lasts as long as the beer lasts in a small bottle. Shows where Bali (Denpasar) stands in comparison to other places. May even be the decider for some of those contemplating business in Bali to choose another city. OK first off didn't read all 60+ pages but the ranking page was a little misguided IMHO. Their metric for choosing seems to be number of days needed to apply for permits. Frankly no one here give a toss about permits and usually just barrels ahead with the building and devil take the hindmost. So I'm not clear that their criteria for choosing one city over the other is valid. But what do I know?
