the ones with the long flowing tails. does anyone know where to get these? Prefer small ones as the big ones are a little expensive.plenty of pet shops have the inbred spotty koi........im after the pure white.i cant attach pics sorry. gave up after weeks trying to attach pics in an unrelated thread. if anyone has been to sardine restaurant they're the same kind they have in the ponds there.thanks

Had dinner in Sardines last night and too was intrigued by the all white koi in reception...very unusual and beautiful. Maybe you can ask the GM where to source them.fwiw this fish restaurant in Batu Belig, a short distance from Lio square, is fantastic. The menu is all well prepared selected fish...my wife had Boullibase (sp) and I had pan seared black bass...to die for!!!All main dishes are in the range Rp150-200,000.A nice touch is they ask if you would like to take dessert/coffee/liqueurs in their relaxing lounge area overlooking a well ornamented sawa field. This restaurant will certainly be revisited by the Davita gang.

that's them Rangi - although the ones I had in my pond before (were eaten by my turtles who I since got rid of) had longer tails. The pet shop I bought them from in Jl Nakula has since gone bankrupt and I haven't seen another pet shop with them in them. i cant ask the manager from Sardine Davita im out of Bali atm and want my gardiner to go buy them. was just wondering if anyone had seen them for sale anywhere.

I bought 2 about 2 years ago on Raya Kerobokan. From Sunset Road after Lio square you get to the next traffic light and about 150 meters after the lights on the left. I said on the road and I mean on the road from one of those guy selling fish. Paid about 35.000 each. Not very big at that time probably 7 cm long.
