If it is a "a western tourist place of business" then my feeling is:
1. Why are they expecting you to contribute to the visa costs?
2. Why are they not providing accommodation?
.... I guess the answer is that there are plenty of people who would actually pay them to work in Bali

Umm seems to me that if people want to "live like a Golly" in Bali and there is no other way for them to do that but earning less than some supposed minimum acceptable of an ex-army wonk that probably never earned half that much while he was peeling spuds in "this man's army" then I say "good luck to them".

get yourself a real job where you come from and save up like the rest had to do then take your hard earned money to a foreign country and try your luck. stop fecking dreaming and get your sleeves rolled up.
