Farcebook has taken over where Balipod used to be so valuable but hasn't given what the Pod does so well - take any subject and follow it on down - FB lets everyone have a go but nobody knows much so the level of understanding takes a dive. Maybe nobody wants to know what the Pod has to offer anymore? Let's see.
I agree that many people who once would have spent plenty of time on Balipod now spend plenty of time on Facebook. It can be entertaining or it can be irritating, but I do find it more ephemeral. You may recall seeing something on a Facebook page but you have real trouble finding it again because Facebook is very poor at search - you probably cannot remember which Facebook group it was you were looking at and Facebook does not let you request a search for keywords on all the groups that you visit. So what do people do - they just ask the same questions over and over because they cannot find the last answer.
