Markit wroteMozzies really aren't that much of a problem outside of Ubud I've found - in Ubud they'll carry you off to their nest to feed the kids there's that many of them. Also the lumps you get are different to any I've had anywhere (including Florida) - you never see the bastard insects and they itch like mad for days then turn into this superating, weeping sore that still itches but you can't scratch it for up to 2 weeks.
I always know when people have spent time in Ubud they look like plague victims.
You are right on this one Markit, especially the mozzies in Ubud town. Still have scars from two bites that I received a year ago... Looked like a normal mosquito bite for a day or two, then turned into a nasty, painful sore that took weeks to heal...
