The story....
About 3 weeks we driving down the road and glimpsed a local guy trying to unblock a drain under a driveway while an imperious Bule with hands on hips looked down. My partner gasped "How arrogant!" Then, maybe a week later we were driving down and there was a fire truck (they always arrive too late) and many other vehicles - the villa of that Bule had burnt. Then another week later, my partner was in the shop next to where the fire was and discovered his impression of arrogance was widely shared among the locals and there was little sympathy for this woman.
So you may ask "how did the fire start?". Well I have no idea, but make no mistake - locals read body language...
