Please all be aware that this can happen - see picture and please note the 14 day validity along with the "Transit visa" stamp also with 14 day validity to go along with it. This was a "normal" Social Visa gotten by our trusty Mr. Malik in Singapore and was refused at Immigrazzi today with the news that the bearer should leave the country today (7-6-13) when a normal SV would be valid until the 9th of this month. Actually the bearer should have left the country on the 14th day after April 11th. No one even thought this was possible that I've talked to and we are still waiting for the repercussions to work through. Wife was told that she should leave Indo today to avoid more serious consequences... OK that's the "official" position. No one even thought to look at the visa as it was a normal Social Visa so - beware!

Mark, what picture are you referring to? Was it a photo of the visa in the passport?

Everyone gets days when nothing, but absofuckinglutely nothing works. Today is my day - I will try for the 10th time to add pictures to this idiotic system. Wish me luck. Has anyone ever seen this?

If you click on the image itself, it works.

For those that can't see it the normal format for a 211 visa but with the exception of where it normally says "Length of Stay" 60 days for some unknown reason the idiots have put 14 days. Now upon entering the country with here brand new 6 month social visa she now got this never before seen "transit visa" for 14 days. Of course its all our fault we should have looked but I can't understand why all along the route others that must have been completely aware of this difficulty also said nothing - from Mr. Malik the agent in Singapore to the visa official that gave out a "transit visa". The poor woman went yesterday for a completely normal renewal of her very first Social visa after the normal 2 month in country to be told she must leave the country immediately - best today or there would be big trouble. No one can explain how this could have happened in Singapore or why. All very strange.

Lots of people complain that KL only gives 30 days, so good idea to check when immigration hands back your passport.

Markit...that is not a transit visa...it is a visit visa, but only for 14 days. The same stamp is used but the 'visit' criteria is clearly circled and, as the visa ony permits 14days, the Immigrassi in Indonesia used the correct procedure.Without access to the original application form it is difficult to understand why anyone would be given only a 14 days visit visa, unless coming from a country that does not permit Visa on Arrival. I see the applicant's citizenship is nominated 'D' but don't know what that signifies. Perhaps if you tell us how much the visa cost some sense may be made of the reason for your post.btw the visa No. 211 is for many types of single visits....not only for a Sosbud.

The "D" is for Deutschmark and the it was a Social Visa as gotten from friend Malik in Singapore many, many times. Cost as usual S$ 175...
