Valentine’s Day is coming soon and as more and more Balinese are celebrating the Western holiday with sales of items related to the day of love increasing.
Chocolates and other sweets have sold in larger quantities and so have condoms according to reports.
Shops in Jembrana have reportedly sold three times the amount of condoms compared to the rest of the year.
“Valentine’s trinkets were mostly bought by teenagers. But condoms, it’s been diverse, both moms and dads. However, teenagers and students have also been buying a lot,” said a store clerk with a smile.
