mugwump Has anyone had any recent experience visiting Dili in East Timor? Am considering flying there in March and see a sizable list of hotels, but have had information that there were actually only a few that provide conditions comparable to a decent Bali homestay. Would appreciate input. Thanks.
mugwump Hi Mugwump, Thanks for all the isolationist input, and wish to report that today I bought my flight ticket to Leste. Creep back into your blanket covered caves and never venture further than KL or S'pore.
davita Have a nice trip...looking forward to your commentary of your travels. Never been to Timor Leste, and not on my bucket list, but read recently that Prime Minister Xanana had resigned in favor of a younger leader...very rare decision....and brave.
mugwump Actually there is more to my motivation. Have seen some good fishing videos, but most of the info. is through sports fishing charter operations in Bali and steeply covered with commissions. Appreciate fellow expat encouragement. Thanks, and will report.

mugwump Adam wrotePlease give a report on the fishing. Have heard good things about the place as well. Will certainly let you know. My chief concern is getting a western style boat to charter.
