Hi all,
Anyone have any experience with applying for Family KITAS (Indonesian husband) without the use of an agent?
What's the best advice you can give?

My advice:
- be prepared for a few trips to immigration just to submit your application. They will never tell you exactly what you need.
- For KITAP we had an interview at our home, which you may need to do. My advice: know all all the dates you got married, parent's names etc.
- if they tell you to send any documents, use a service like JRE and have someone to take the documents personally to that particular office. For example we had a family member take our documents in JKT to save on a trip there. We sent the docs to their private address.

Immigration in Renon, and Lombok were both helpful
Renon wanted bank account to show living expense while lombok did not
My fiances KTP Lombok so we will do all there . We elected not to go the Kipem route ( wedding in Lombok and we visit them monthly )

actually we take a scooter or harley or car over so we use the ferry
for my wedding ,I will be bringing Usa family and some local family over by fastboat and renting 2 cars for a day
Never flew to Lombok yet
