balinews The Bali Police say the crime rate on the island has decreased significantly. The number of victims who are foreigners has also declined. Overall, the number of crime reports filed in Bali in 2014 decreased by 16.65 percent to 7,018 cases, down from 8,420 cases reported in 2013. “The number of criminal cases has significantly decreased. Thanks to the cooperation of all stakeholders, including the police and community,” Bali Police chief Insp. Gen. Albertus Julius Benny Mokalu said recently. The decrease in crime means that fewer foreigners are victims of crime. Benny explained that as many as 106 crime victims in Bali in 2014 were foreign nationals. In 2013, there were 170 foreigners who were victims of crime. Bali’s crime rate goes down | The Jakarta Post
