To save this post not looking like advertising (against the rules) I won't put my company name. But within my company (based in Jakarta) we advise on all expatriate's financial needs. I personally deal with all aspects Life Insurance. Sell, service and aid claims etc. We're extremely established in Jakarta but have very loose ties with the expatriates in Bali. If anyone has a spare moment to answer any of the following questions for me I would be most appreciative! (and would be happy to buy you a beer next week when I come down). - How many expatriates are working in Bali? - General % of nationalities? Genders? - What industries do Expatriates tend to work in? - Are there/What are the well established social and/or business networking events in Bali? E.g. Internations - Local Readership amongst expats? Perhaps... The Bali-Expat? The Yak? etc - In your mind, if you wanted to buy/seek advice on life insurance cover, where would you start? - What companies do you know of in Bali offering expatriates advice in Pensions, Savings, Insurance Products, Portfolio Bonds etc...?I really would appreciate any answers, opinions or anything else you wish to share. With the last question feel free to be as brutal as you like...I'm aware of companies offering some very 'Commission oriented' advice. That's about as polite as I could put it...Thank you in advance :)
