Markit Well! Is anyone surprised about this?? I'd dearly love to know how much this cost the estate of the mum who is now getting to pay for the release of her own murders - daughter and sprog will get to go home and boyfriend will get 10 years for manslaughter, and quietly released after 5. Karma is really a bitch. Wonder if they will be charged in the US or taken to civil court. Boyfriend better hope the homey's money is in a safe place until he gets out...
davita samsiam wroteSo this case is in the bag then..... Could be......seeing as the daughter confessed to putting the bag in the case. :abnormal: I heard the police have sealed the case as they don't want leaks to hamper their investigation.
davita Seems there is more to this story than we first read in Bali. Woman found dead in Bali got $840,000 in a cruise line settlement - Chicago Sun-Times Her father, James Brown, was a composer and he posthumously received over US$800,000 in a settlement with a cruise line over an accident, when the accused (Heather) was 10. His estate got half-million, which was willed to Heather, but her mother (now murdered) was the executor and somehow had that money transferred to herself. Methinks the quicker the Bali police give the evidence to the FBI and deport her, in their care, back to Chicago.....the better for all of us here. This saga just adds to Bali's woes. Bumping this thread as I've just read that the accused (Heather) gave birth to a little girl yesterday. This means that Kerobokan penitentiary has one more 'bundle of joy' to contend with for a few years...even if the prosecutors are salivating at yet another potential execution to add to their portfolio....by executing the mother. I think, more than ever, smart prosecutors should have heeded my advice in the above quote.
