Lithuanian man arrested for drug smuggling

Customs officers in Bali have arrested a Lithuanian man for allegedly attempting to smuggle almost four kilograms of methamphetamine into the island, in what an official called the biggest single drug bust of the year. The suspect, identified only by the initials V.L., 41, was arrested in the early hours of Monday after arriving at Denpasar’s Ngurah Rai International Airport on board a flight from Hong Kong. As he was passing through customs with his wife, an X-ray scan revealed a foil-wrapped package inside his backpack, according to Budi Harjanto, the regional customs office head for Bali and Nusa Tenggara. Officers opened the package and discovered some 944 grams of a crystalline substance that later tested positive as meth. Two other packages were found in V.L.’s other bags, containing 1,982 grams and 986 grams of the same drug, Budi said. “In all, there was 3,912 grams of meth,” he said. “This was our biggest seizure so far in 2014.” Police have taken V.L. and his wife into custody, and are deepening the investigation to uncover the latter’s role in the smuggling attempt, according to Sr. Comr. Gusti Ketut Budiarta, the Bali Police’s anti-narcotics chief. Budiarta said police had charged V.L. under the 2009 Anti-Narcotics Law, for which he could face the death penalty if convicted. With all the death penalties accumulating in Kerbokan pretty soon it's gonna be easier for the authorities to simply bomb the fecking prison instead of doing each one individual like. Maybe they can find some old inmates with the necessary experience? Didn't they just let one guy out 5 years into an 18...!? Bet he's glad he only killed a buncha folks instead of smuggling horrible drugs!

Just arrived back in Bali after being away 2 months and the customs were only interested in my supply of 'vitamins for seniors'. He smelled every jar! He attempted to open my bubble wrapped new computer but then spotted the vitamins......so left the computer aside to concentrate on the vitamins. He was probably looking for the legally sold marijuana from Seattle!

Yours is 22 inches?...man that's big! Mine is only 20 inches and previously was only 17.4 inches...that's why I need all those vitamins the customs officer nearly confiscated...it will help my fading eyesight see the [U]screen[/U]. I'll bet you guys thought we were talking about something else......:icon_e_surprised: I learned a lot about pot recently. I rented an apartment in Vancouver and the smell from the 2nd hand smoke, walking down the hallway to our place, gave me a buzz. Even better than the buzz from Hatten's fine rosé!:icon_eek:

I did bring back Windows 8.1....a product engineered in Bellevue, WA.....you are sampling it right now!!! and all the vitamins came from Costco...A Seattle company. But smoke (is that your real name or a nom-de-plum created by your addictiion)....do you really need 'vitamins for seniors' or 'Ibuprofin' or do you mean something else? If so....I understand that 'BC bud' is better than the variety now sold in WA stores but...what do I know! (to quote our Karengasem friend). The Prince of Pot (Marc Emery) is out of jail so maybe he'll be in action again....'Prince of Pot' Marc Emery Out of U.S. Prison, Back in Canada - NBC News....ask him for some seeds and grow them in Sanur....you'll be very popular at the get-togethers.:highly_amused:

Ah Davita sorry for taking so long to reply.It took me a while to dig out off the attic a HP 22 inch windows XP. Nope just a name i opted in for here. However you seem to know allot about it
