Hi Everyone.My name is Dan. This is my first post after reading for a while. So hi everyone.I tried searching the forum for info on this but couldn't find anything so hopefully you can help.I need to employ a full time computer programmer to work in our office in Seminyak and have no idea where to start looking. Can anyone suggest how I might find someone?Also are there any good programmers even in Bali? I have heard that there simply may not really be many locals with a solid skill sets in this area. I need at least all the usual skills php mysql etc but would ideally want someone with solid .NET and SQLServer experience as well.Also does anyone know what a programmer should get paid? I have been told about 6,000,000 a month should get me someone good.Thanks in advance for your help!Dan

Place an ad in the Baliadvertizer. While 10 years ago you would have had to go to Jkt to find a person with those skills, today there are plenty candidates. Rp 6 mln sounds about right. Big question of course is that you need to be fairly knowledgeable yourself on php mysql .net to be able the judge a candidate's skill level.Good luck. P
