moondogy I have been living in Bali for 3 years and have a KITAS. In this time I have purchased 2 new motor bikes ............. No problem. Now I am told by the people at Astra that I can't buy a new bike with a KITAS. Apa ??????

Smoke correct back in mid January the laws changed. basically you need a KTP to own a vehicle. also changed was any KTP holde can pay the "taxes" on a vehicle. and some people still think RI will let foriegners own land outright Best way is get a trusted local friend to.
