Its often a wild goosechase to find stuff like this , and frustrating when you try to explane perspex (or whatever your looking for ) and other things commonly found at home , but only get confused responses here . I can only suggest as a definate starting point ; the bali advertiser regularly has an advertisement from a business that makes perspex shop displays ..., perhaps you could contact them for more info ? , perhaps they have supplies or can turn you onto their supplier .If you do find a good perspex supplier , could you please let us all know the address and contact details etc ...., it would be much appreciated by others in the futureJust to note when working with perspex ; if possible , always drill holes with a blunt drillbit , or cut with a blunt powersaw or hand saw , as sharp tools often will crack the perspex in an undesireable fashion.

I don't think 'Perspex' is a well known name here......try searching acrylicfrom Bali Advertiser....Bali Plastic. Acrylic display & signage. Brochure holders, sign holders, poster holders, bag stand, shoe stand, counter display, wall display, show case, etc. Acrylic sheets/mirror/rod/pipe. Jl. what are the advantages of using perspex instead of glass for windows in a house? Is it cheaper, stronger, isolates better ...? I would think that glass windows are preferred?

Hi Everyone,Thanks for info and tips....haven't got around to organising this yet, but will let you know the outcome when I do.The reason for perspex is because it's going to be quite a big piece and very high up and just wanted to reduce damage possibility in case of earthquake...not that I want to sound pessimistic :)
