Kiwiana34 Hi everybody, I'm coming to Bali next month for my first ever health retreat and hoping to check out some conservation projects while I'm there. I've heard there is a great little organisation helping Bali's endangered sea turtle population at Serangan Island. Can anybody provide me with more info on this turtle project and/or recommend other environmental initiatives elsewhere in Bali that might also be worth a visit? I'm also curious about the Bali Safari & Marine Park but am wary of visiting any zoo-type establishments in SE Asia, having stumbled across some dodgy ones in Thailand and Vietnam that seem to be more concerned with exploiting the local wildlife for commercial gain than conserving anything. Any advice or suggestions appreciated. Thank you Amy :lemo:
