I have been using this recently and it's quite good. A fairly simple site where you allocate duration, time of year, destination, maximum price etc and it watches the various airline sites until a cheap fare comes up. You can then book it direct with the airline if you choose. There are odd occasions though when the cheapest fare is Bali to Bangkok with 4 stopovers!!!

Does it have a direct flight option...this would cut all those crap multi stop cheap flights out....I hate that.

Not that I can see. I understand what you mean but if I save say $200 on a fare that requires a 6 hour stopover and it takes me 2 weeks work to save that $200 I reckon I'm ahead! Convenience has its price.

A website I use for local Asian destinations is utiket.com: Cheap Flights | Compare Low-Cost Flights with the Utiket Technology
It has a number of filters which can eliminate those features not required under search.
