Hello everyone!I'm Rebecca, 23 years old, originally from Scotland but now living in Bali! Moved here about 2 months ago and I am absolutely loving it :icon_e_biggrin:Just looking to make some new friends and really get settled into life in Bali, so thought I would introduce myself!Right now I'm doing the TEFL course so I have the option for teaching English, but I'm actually already working in a school teaching music so the TEFL is really just a back up or if I need some extra money. Most weekends I'll go away for the weekend to explore. So far I've been to Ubud and Sanur and last weekend I went to Kuta and did some shopping in Discovery Mall.Anyway would love to hear from people and just make some new friends really, since all my friends are back home in Scotland! :grumpy:

Hi Rebecca, welcome to the forum!

Hi Rebecca welcome to the forum. Can you cook? Wash cars? If you can answer "yes" to either, preferably both, of these important questions I might have something for you next weekend slightly more exciting than the Mall.

I actually love cooking! I cook all the time. Unfortunately the only experience I have washing cars is from when I was younger and needed extra pocket money!

Rebecca if you are willing to learn the basics of car washing and promise not to do anything with sheep's stomachs you are invited to visit East Bali and I will personally show you all that's worth seeing. Depending upon the situation I'm also willing to chat about pocket money:friendly_wink:

Was this a simple oversight or is there more than meets the eye here?:love_heart:

A little secret but for a 23 year old redhead (all scots are) that can cook and wash cars a great deal of slack will be given.

The problem will be communication. Writing has no accent :-)

Yes, Americans can be difficult to understand at times, but Scots are adaptable & I'm sure she'll manage
