Hello! I'm moving to Bali in December and I am planning on living in Sanur. What is your vote for the top ten best bars in Sanur? It can be any kind of bar from a small mom and pop to a big sports bar to a hotel pub. I will visit them all and then find a place to rent within walking distance of the bar I like best. It has to be the Duckz Nutz! They also do a great line in a well aged Gouda to go with the booze.

CaliTim, I know a fair bit about the bars of Sanur. I believe you should contact me.The taxi fare from one end of town to the other is only 30,000. So do not choose accommodation simply based on a bar.Bali Senia on Jalan Danau Poso is run by Pete and is the best sports bar in Sanur. Many FIFO guys live there.Tities on Cemara Beach is a good place for a beer. Magnolia on Pantai Mertasari is also a good place for a cold drink.The Overflow on Jalan Tanjung is run by Eddie and is another great spot.Black Ink is small but has cold beer. This is on Jalan Danau Poso.On On and also Angels are along the same strip and are good for a drink or two.Stumbar can be good but sometimes the beer is not cold enough.BBB bar is a good place to visitGardenia has cold beer.Cemara Beach Restaurant is also good.Sanur Bay Restaurant is a personal favourite.The Ducks Nutz is worth a visit (for obvious reasons)Barb's Sports Bar is currently being refurbished and is another place for a cold beer or two.Casablanca can not keep the beer cold enough so we should forget about that place. (however we can give it one more chance)Warung Kesari is also good. Inna Sindhu on Sindhu Beach is very good. Often 40 or so Norwegian maidens practise yoga and other silly things on the beach there.White Sands also had cold beer and is a good place to watch sport.The Cavern Bar is owned by Percy and has very cold beer.The Big Red Esky at Sanur Beach Villas is good with beer on ice.Jimmy's can be good but a few of the patrons are drop kicks. However the owner is a very nice person.Arena is also a good spot for a palate cleansing ale.Tootsies is also a good place to knock back a few.Cheers.

Fantastic list No Idea! Thanks so much! I'm currently in a guest house near Cemera Beach so off to Tities I go! Seems cold beer won't be a problem, now what about the second most important thing in life...the sweet, sweet ladies! What bar is best for chatting up some gals? :icon_smile:

All have Bintang and the very popular but incorrectly named San Miguel Light. Beer can get to -4 degees before turning to ice.CaliTim, I have sent you a PM. You are currently staying with in a few hundred metres of the red light centre of Bali.

I gotta put my two cents in for BBB bar..Nice little place to knock back a few chilled ones and some good tucker too.Was there a couple of nights ago actually. Good service with a good price.
