My name is Mitch and I'm new to the community here.
I am in the process of creating a small men's clothing label in Australia which has a focus on using organic materials and ethical production practices.
The brand's mission is to educate men in the area of living an environmentally responsible lifestyle and encouraging them to purchase products that support local economies and are made in a sustainable, ethical way.
I would like to produce the clothes in Bali but I am only interested in working with like-minded people who are interested in supporting the wider community of Bali - no large scale commercial production.
At this stage I am trying to source organically dyed, organic material and ethical manufacturers in Bali to produce some samples based on my designs.
If you have any suggestions, I would be grateful for your input.

I was just wondering if you had any insight to your query above? I am in a similar position and want to ensure I find ethical manufacturers as well as organic material.

If the product is made in Indonesia,and the label is Australian,then how would anyone be supporting local economies by buying it,surely buying a Australian made product would be the proper way to support local economies,unless you Australians consider Indonesia to be a local economy because of its close proximity to Australia,i don`t quite get it,
