You can always ask at Amertha Pratiwi near double six. (Jl. Warkudara Utara 5)I have always been very happy with their service when I used them and I always asked a recent Suzuki Skywave. Call them, this is the number of the boss, Wayan 0813 38106061. You should get a special rate for long term rent. Insurance is always an option u have to add when u want it.

might help to mention in what area you are in Robsail...

I never take the optional insurance for a bike. A car is a different story.

Also want to buy my own helmet , now I will be coming and going often,if you have any suggestions?[/QUOTE]Where are you now? If you are in Australia, for example, perhaps it would be better to buy a helmet in Australia. The safety standards are alot stricter. You mentioned quality over price in your previous post so perhaps this is an option for you.

Also check any travel/medical insurance cover that you have. They often exclude injuries from motor-cycle accidents, or have limitations.

Before I bought my own motorbike, a Honda Tigerrrrr, I used to rent. I rented from private guys who, most of them, had taken bank loans for their bikes. My rental periods were 3, 4 or 5 months and I got excellent rates. I obviously never had Balinese insurance for 2 reasons: a) it's a totally useless rip off, and b) fixing the bikes is cheap (I'm not talking about the BIG bikes, as mines were 125 - 200 cc). However, I did carry medical (travel) insurance, and, maybe by luck, motorcycle accidents were not excluded. In any case, better look at the fine print.

Julie in Kuta has rough looking but reliable scooters which are negotiable between 15,000 - 25,000 IDR a day depending on your negotiating skills and length of rental. His number is 0819-3302-8424.
