Initiated by local health community organisation Bali Usada, the first Health and Meditation Festival is set to be held in Bali. According to Bali Usada spokesman, Merta Ada, the free event is open to the general public, and is expected to attract up to 2,000 participants. “This festival will not charge anything, everyone is welcome and we just want the public to think clearly, calm and peacefully,” added Merta in Sanur during a press conference yesterday. The festival will be held at Denpasar Art Centre on Saturday, December 14, 2013 from 9am until 8pm. “In addition to the basic meditation for health, there are also other activities including meditation classes for harmony, loving-kindness, and improvement of the body and mind. The goal of the festival is to provide information about the benefits of meditation for health and healing,” he conclude
