Ah he is in California and just coming to Bandung to get married , its been 3 different girls that he had pulled out from. He gets cold feet but hopefully he will go ahead this time. He hasn't met her yet. (they do things differently In Indonesia) that will happen in about a week when she goes to the states for 2 weeks holiday. This is a girl recommended by other brother in law , she came to meet us when we were on Bali in January and she is a good sort. Regardless I will have a holiday in August and stop in Bali. In the meantime No.Idea seems to get cheeses deliveries so I would try be nice to him.

All of the above may be correct but that doesn't solve your cheese problem. He had a Mexican wife who cheated on him a few times then left him about 12 yrs ago. He has brought his daughter up alone but now shes flown the coup. So he had that to consider plus I think his confidence never recovered so the family do the usual Indonesian thing and interfere to get him a wife. Guess where the daughters flown too ? Correct another usual Indonesian thing send her to Sydney for 1 year living with us disrupting my walking about naked or with underwear on etc etc So now I have this 20 y/o girl who is not street smart at home, shes searching for a job then I will start charging her living expenses. P.S. anyone have a translation for street smart -jalan cerdas doesn't cut it. I need a saying that they use cant seem to get wife to understand. When i try to explain she says " she's street smart she knows how to get a train and bus "

The thought of you running around the house in your pants or, God forbid, in your birthday suit is almost cruel and inhuman treatment and I'd think one showing would suffice to move the girl out rapidly. If she's grown up in the US why would she not understand "street smart" or have I missed something?

Yes you have missed something I'm talking about the wife can't understand what street smart means. I cant translate it to get the proper meaning. Looking for an Indonesian saying similar to street smart.

There's a place in Candi Dasa - if you take the Tenganan rd and just as you are leaving the last houses on your right side is a blacksmith/metal bender guy shop. I'm told he's made some and a mate saw one in his shop but no guarantees.

Well the fair maiden who went to the USA to meet the brother in Law has albeit been rejected and is on a plane as we speak. She looks good, has a good figure,is 16 years younger than him, is a bank manager also runs a design business which pays more that the bank,is bubbly and made a trip to the states to meet and he has asked to put it on hold, why doesn't he just say no.He said if all things work out then it may happen (I cant work out what that means) I don't understand at all this is his fourth rejection. So my August plan to go to Bali and Bandung for the wedding needs to change. I should probably spend a week in Sanur or CD or maybe north(never been) then somewhere else in Indonesia ANY SUGGESTIONS ANYONE. Not Bandung Jakarta ,Lombok or Jorga Need to be at least comfortable wife likes a bit of luxury. PS No.Idea i will bring you black Pudding etc FREE

If my business is Tokopedia or one of the companies listed on Tokopedia? The list just show companies in Bali. I would guess its listing 10 or more business there! But i got mine there like everything else. Tokopedia all day! I guess i could list olx.co.id also but i hate shopping there, or Facebook marketplace but again many listing and no prices!

"Your right"!? I found this forum after weeks searching for what to get myself endless search on facebook marketplace. As of the Covid times it started to feel like I should make my own more or less restaurant kind of food. And like it has been spoken about in this chat it's hard to pick what to get. Making your own or getting a small one. So yes I got The IKEA one, not the one on the link but a cheaper one. But that one is no longer listed on tokopedia, so i listed that one.
