I was told a few weeks ago by immigration that the KITAP is a little over 5juta (I don't remember the actual figure cause we decided to go with another KITAS instead). I presume it's so high because the MERP is now automatically included in the visa processing and price, as opposed to applying for it after the visa is issued and paying separately. I went to immigrasi near the airport.
