Final of March ... Sosbud visa for my husband/from German must be extended, 1st Extending ... In the sticker of visa i´m as sponsor. I was at imigration office near airport. The documents are okay than last year we make self the extending for the same visa at the imigrationsoffice ... and i got big schock, they told me... that my KTP is not Bali KTP and i can extend visa for my husband in Bali. I had panic ... and than i decided to use visa agent 700k Rupiah/Extending ...
As Indonesian with Jakarta KTP i can not be as sponsor for my husband ... is very curious for me. I will now change my Jakarta KTP to Bali KTP, in other region maybe just 100k rupiah, in Bali we must pay about 1 million rupiah for KTP Bali...

The Sosbud can only be extended in the same Immigrasi office that the sponsor resides (i.e. KTP address.). To my knowledge it has always been like this.
i.e. When I was sponsored by a family member living in Tangerang I had to have the extensions done in Tangerang, even when I lived in central Jakarta.
fwiw, it is the same as an agent. The agent must have an office in the immigrasi area he/she is applying, whether for Sosbud or Kitas. i.e. If applying for a retirement visa the agent must have an office in the Immigrasi area the applicant will reside.

1 million for KTP? what for?
Did you own a property or just renting one?
If you own a property legally and have settle your banjar registry, you are entitle for a KTP and KK, maybe just give the klian some money and he will do it for you

Also you might want to consider getting the spouse sponsored visa. If you have been married more than 2 years you can get a KITAP which is good for 5 years. I think the official cost is around 3 million. Even if you aren't living here permanently it might save you money over using the social visa.
I believe that it is possible to change your sponsor, which is another option.

*I have KIPS/KIPEM as not permanent resident in Bali. Last year as sponsor for my husband i used KTP Jakarta + KIPS Bali.
*My husband and i, we are married 20 years ... BUt since last year we decided to living just 6 months here in Bali, the other 6 months we are in Germany. We decided to use sosial budaya visa. KITAS is too complicated for just
stay about 6 months.
*I own property here in Bali
About KTP for 1 Million Rupiah, i hear from my relatives, he living in the same area . He must change his KTP than his children should go to the school (National school) here... i write you if i know more about the price for my Bali KTP...
