caravan wroteDoesn't instill great confidence in their product! Still not a bad rate though (without fees). Higher than bank rate in NZ. About the same as Western Union (who I've never used before). Does anyone know what the rate is on the street in Bali at the moment for NZD?
Just to clear up any misunderstanding it was the NZ forex website Spicy posted that had different rates when you sign up. I signed up to OrbitRemit's though, sent them a scan of my license and passport along with a pdf of my bank statement which I downloaded from the ASB website, very straight forward process to sign up, from what I hear its a lot easier than Kangaroo Service. The only down fall is the maximum you're allowed to send is IDR 50,000,000 at a time. The first transaction is free and after that NZD $8 every transfer. My first deposit should arrive on Monday so I'll keep you posted on how much actually turns up in my account. By the way the NZD is currently IDR 8174 which is fairly good. AUS dollar is IDR 9,361.25
