Geger Beach still quiet?

Last time I went to Geger beach it was lovely and quiet with only two warungs. At that time the new Mulia hotel was still being built. Now that it is open does anyone know how it has affected Geger beach? Thanks

I visited Mulia last month, there were around 10 people on the beach that day.

I was at Geger Beach today and what has happened there brings tears to my eyes. I still can remember this lovely beach as it was before and now you look at this hideous Mulia Hotel which is huge and totally ugly. A massive concrete hell without any balinese features. At Geger Beach now the sunlounges are so tight together that there is no more privacy at all. The little warungs are still nice but the whole beach has totally lost it's charme.

I also miss geger beach, I went to Virgin beach instead nowadays for their natural look

you should go to Pandawa Beach ( Secret Beach ) just few km from kampial ...its quite , and very clean ...

Actually we discovered Pandawa Beach about 1 year ago when it was still really "secret" - only seaweed farmers and almost no tourists. Nowadays unfortunately it's not so secret any more. Lots of people, more and more sunlounges, warungs and shops. I was told there is a lot of publicity for this beach in TV. But at the moment it's still quite nice. We will see for how long.

Yes i like Pandawa Beach too ... sometimes i go to enjoy this -still quite beach- For daily activity on the morning, i´m happy with Jimbaran Beach, nearby my house ... on morning until lunch time about 13.00 is this area very quiet for walking on the long beach and then swimming ...

I was just told that now they are already bringing people down to Pandawa Beach in busloads. The fee for going down to the beach by bike or car increases almost by the month: in Dec. it was 2000 per bike, in Jan. 5000, now it's already 5000 for the bike and another 1000 per person.
