Hi [B]admin[/B]Don't you think it's about time to up-date certain items on the landing page for this site?Of the seven major ones that are there, only one is from 2012 (April), The rest are from 2011.I know I don't have to look at it but it's still another mouse-click just to get inside.Personally, I find it annoying and I'm sure others do, too.Surely it's not [I]too[/I] difficult or time-consuming to keep it more up-to-date?:icon_rolleyes:

I think you would probably be surprised how many emails I get from people who have forgotten their username/password and who actually never end up posting on the forum.If you are volunteering to be a moderator please let me know!

Matsaleh is already doing a fantastic job as moderator. I will see if there is a way for you to post articles to the front page.The new version of vbulletin (this forum's software) has a facebook like activity stream which may excite some people. :icon_razz:

Thanks for the great idea. I found a mod which does this. It posts an article on the front page and makes a new thread in the news section of the forum, all automatically! Still adjusting the settings, but it looks promising. That should make JohnnyCool happy - at least for now.

Vbulletin (which this forum runs on) bought an application called Forum runner [url=http://www.forumrunner.net/]Forum Runner - vBulletin / XenForo / myBB / IP.Board / phpBB Forum iPhone App[/url] and they have included it in the next version, so after the next forum upgrade this will be available. Of course you need to buy the app forum runner ($1.99 for the iphone or android). In the mean time, you can try changing the forum 'style' in the bottom left corner from Digital Forums to Mobile Style. Welcome any feedback.
